1. Use Microsoft Word to write a length-based paragraph that describes or explains a topic.
2. A length-based paragraph is comprised of five length-based sentences that are in the following order: one topic sentence, three support sentences, and one conclusion sentence.
3. A length-based sentence is defined as a topic, support, or conclusion sentence that follows a design with a 15, 25, 25, 25, and 15-word-count pattern.
4. After each length-based sentence is written in Microsoft Word, highlight the sentence and use the Word Count under the Review Menu to determine the length.
5. When the sentences are constructed correctly, the length-based paragraph will be 105 words long.
